The SMK-880 series rack LCD console with 8-port USB KVM switch lets you monitor rackmount servers using a single monitor and USB keyboard mouse. SMK-880 rack LCD console features a 17 inch flip-up flat panel LCD monitor, USB keyboard and touchpad mouse. USB keyboard and mouse are hot-pluggable, easily recognized and configured by the operating system, and the PC usually provides 4 or more USB ports for peripheral devices. The 8-port USB KVM switches supports USB keyboard and mouse interface.

- The SMK880 includes an 8-port keyboard video mouse switch providing a
convenient solution for controlling multiple computers.
The switch supports hot plugging of systems so you don't have to power down the KVM to add or remove PCs and features auto-scanning of connected systems and systems on cascaded installations. Using the KVM can't be simpler, using a combination of on-screen menu and keyboard-mounted pushbuttons, the KVM scans for connected PCs and the operator uses the pushbuttons to select the desired PC either by number or by name. Assign unique names, rather by port numbers, to connected computers makes it easier to identify the computer in a network environment.
The SMK880 also includes two dedicated KVM ports for cascading additional KVM switches. This lets you use all 8 KVM ports for PCs. - USB keyboard and touchpad

- Flexible rack mounting
- Ball-bearing slide rails with rack mounting front and rear brackets are mounted on the unit. The rear mounting flange can be extended to more than 38 inches.
